Shock Insert ??
Can i get new shock inserts for my 88? How hard are they to install? Thanks...

Don't quote me on this, but I think only the early 944's 83-85 had replaceable shock inserts.

I have a 88 and they are not repairable. Check this out and let me know if you try it. I plan on doing this soon and these guys seem to have best deal for us nonrepairables.

You can do the conversion yourself, it is not that difficult if you have access to mainly a vice, hack saw and a rotary cutoff tool (Dremel).

Not sure if it's different in the states but i've had front shock inserts fitted in my s2 cab about 24 months ago and mine's an '89.
