another (yes,another!!) dme question

i know that an 85-86-87 dme/afm combo can be put into a 1983-84 944. can the 88 also or is 87 the cut-off point?

well, Im not sure but, I know the 88 has a differeny CR so the timming might be different to the point it might effect the peformance of a non 88 engine
