Interesting. Fan temp switch has nothing to do with the engine DME logic. Me thinks you nudged something else that was intermittent when you replaced the fan temp switch.

that's what i thought as well, but wasn't sure
don't see how i could have nudged anything
there's really not much else near the fan thermoswitch...

just took a nice drive today... and i never noticed it before, but it does hunt a little bit, socal... maybe 15-20 rpms.. but i'm attributing that to a small vac leak somewhere... not a sensor problem..
