				Control Valve #1 Function Question

OK, I was wondering about the Control Valve #1, I think, in the system. Under the hood on the drivers side Outboard. When I got my car, the line that goes from the Vac line from the J-Hose area goes to this valve then goes, looks to be the fire wall. That line was plugged off from the J-Hose area with a bolt, and the valve was not in play. Hooked it up, not sure if it made a diff. There is an adjustible set screw on the top ov the valve. What dose thsi do? THe 2 Vacc canisters on the Fresh air fan assembly have no vac, could this go to this? Have no clue. Thanks Mike hermesbooking@yahoo.com

Thanks, More than likely the CVI is bad. I have noticed the Idle running a little on the off side. That sould take care of that problem. Now just gotta find one that works. Is it a 100% Important part? Can I get buy with it plugged? Thanks Mike
