924S Speedo works but odometer doesn't
I think the title is pretty self-expanitory but more in depth....I have a 924S speedometer that works but the odometer and tripometer don't work. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? The speedo is currently out of the car. Thanks.

the gear is broken/stripped, or has slid down on its axle (or whatever you want to call it). they can be repaired. do a search for extensive information about this.
i repaired the odometer several times on my '83 and found every time that the gear had slid. moving it back and putting a spot of superglue on it would work temporarily. i ended up replacing it, eventually.

Yep it's the gear. Never reset the trip odometer when the car is moving.
