Need help identifing a sensor - '88 n/a

I need some help identifying a sensor - I've searched the PET catalog but I don't see is.

The sensor is on the intake manifold toward the rear. It has a hose attached on one end and an electrical connection on the other. The hose is that funky one that also goes to the oil vapor separator.

The photo of the intake manifold in the PET catalog is a little different than mine (maybe because my car is an automatic??).

Thanks in advance.................................Vern

I found it in the PET catalog. It's a Heating Tube #944-616-104-00 for 88 & later cars.

Anyone know specifically what this does - I assume it heats up but what is it heating? It's connected to the oil vapor seperator.
