Disable Shiftup light
Hello,
I have an 87 944s, how can I disable the orange shift up indicator? I removed the instrument and didn't see any bulb. Thanks, Ngoc |

It is internal. If a major issue pull the gauge and place a small piece of black tape over it( the indicator).

I've actually found it to be a tiny bit useful on the S - it can remind you that you are still in 4th gear on the highway if you zone out (the S won't really mind doing 5K in 4th all day...).
