3 way adjustable rear sway bar

Hi Guys
I'm putting a 3 way adjustable rear sway bar M030 option on the 968 onto my 944S2 (PN# 94433370101)
Can anyone describe the differences of the 3 positions. I assume the holes nearest the ends of the bar will be the firmest setting? Is that correct?

In the meantime I was going to fit it on the middle (default?) setting.

Thanks

opposite, the shorter the arm the stiffer it is.

Actually that makes sense when you describe it like that. Thanks!

On my street car, I run the middle setting.

Is the difference really noticeable or is it very subtle?

Say if someone crawled under your car while it was parked and moved the position by one hole, would you notice that something had changed when you get back in your car and drive off or is it really only at the limit that the differences become apparent when the body is really rolling on it's axis?

depends on the rest of the setup, and how you drive

it also depends on what bar you have up front

When I had my 1983 944, a lot of the upgrades I performed were suspension stuff - front and rear sways, front and rear struts, front springs, strut tower brace - and I rarely noticed a difference right away. But the cumulative effect was drastic - I remember driving a stock 944 back to back with my car. My little white car felt like a go kart and the other 944 felt like a Buick (exaggeration, of course, but you get the picture).

I run the middle setting on mine and it does fine. I have heard that if you put it on the stiffest setting, the rear end will skip out a little, or at least on my car.
