Shift boot question.

Could one of these boots be installed and loook as good as the original?

First, it is Ebay, so who really knows!
Second, if it is just a cheaper shifter boot, like the ones you can get from most 944 sites, it should work the same and look stock, but you may have to buy it to find out how well it looks and is made...

Just a reference, real shifter boot replacements are about $50, so this is some sort of replica (could be just as good though...)

I say it is worth a try ??? Just send it back if it sucks. I paid about 50 USD for mine and it fits like a glove and is very good quality leather. My guess if something was wrong with this, it would be the fit and quality of the stitching.

IIRC I bought a Wheelskin shift boot off ebay last year for $35. It was really nice quality and looks great.

Ok i bought one and finally got a chance to put it on. It looks great. The only suggestion i have is to soak the leather up towards the top of the boot and pull it on and then let it dry and shrink on. I will take a pic once it is back in the car.
