Question about converting power sunroof to manual.
Hi Guys,
I just converted my sunroof from power to manual. However I am worried about the method i did it. The back latches stick out and are not flush to the sunroof. Below are pictures: http://img207.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0910ia8.jpg http://img177.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0911ni0.jpg Any suggestions/comments?? and yes i need to clean the interior of my car! Thanks in advance, RedBaron Last edited by RedBaron; 08-16-2008 at 07:07 PM.. |

Any info on where to go to find out how to do this? I really want to do this on my one '87 as it has stripped gears and all I ever do with the sunroof is remove it anyways, never just lifted it up while it did work anyways. And the other 87 I just bought had stripped gears also, so I wasn't able to fix it like I wanted...

Hardtop Conversion
it seems that one member here simply cut the liner of the sunroof so that the latches would lay flush. see the last post.

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if it is possible that I could take a early 944 sunroof panel and switch is out with the one i currently have to make the latches stay down flush? An example would be something like this: Thanks, RedBaron |
