You replaced the pressrue valve, what was the pressure b4 and after?
You may have crap floating around the oil passages. Put a strong magnet on the pan near the drain and run it for a day then just before draining the oil remove the magnet and if there is metal you should see some in the waste oil. If no metal try flushing the engine to clean the passages. |

maybe that dumb guy that did my clutch put in wrong oil..

there is some medal stuff....what dose this mean??:(

Your oil pan drain plug has a magnet. A little bit of sludge on it is normal, but if it has a bunch of metal shavings on it, your bearings are probably breathing their last.
You're better off not running the car until you at least change the bearings. Once the shavings spread throughout the engine, you're looking at a complete teardown, and most likely a destroyed crank. My race car had a barely audible knock after coming off the track a few years ago. Pulled the drain plug, and it looked like Don King's hair. I got lucky- I still had oil pressure. Not much farther, and the engine would have destroyed itself. |

this is what i am going to need? i also just flushed the engine.. damn another thing to replace.. |
could it be the oil..the guy might of put in 5w30 but it takes 10w30..
|
5W30 should not be a problem especially this time of year. I run 15W50 Mobil1 during the late Spring and Summer months, then change over to 5W30 Mobil 1 during the Winter months. I always use Mobil1 Syn oil.

Sounds like lifters to me. Doesn't sound like rod knock.
There seems to be quite a language barrier here so really I am not certain on a number of things, metal shavings across the engine when drilling?... Metal shavings on the outside of the engine are very unlikely to hurt anything. If you were drilling INSIDE the engine though, then we would need more information. What is the oil pressure when this is happening? Using a long screwdriver or a stethescope, check if the noise is coming from the top or bottom end. |

i did break a drill bit and i never found it.. could it be that it went somewhere in the engine? lets say something falls in one of those holes under the valve cover..where is it going? the oil pan? i am so confused....

"There seems to be quite a language barrier here..."
Slam gets coffee and donut... "Middle screw on valve cover" doesn't quite do it for me. Was a cam tower hex bolt stripped inside the tower? If it was and you broke a drill bit INSIDE the cam tower you shouldn't have even attempted to crank the motor until you'd rectified that issue. You may have been lucky - the oil return holes in the head may have let the broken bit fall through into the oil pan (shudders). |
Just heard your video. Sounds like lifters. If they don't pressure up and quiet down within about 15 minutes of fresh startup (which can be the longest 15 minutes of your life) then you've got an oil pressure issue - they're a symptom at that point.
Another thing that can make a similar racket is the ignition rotor becoming loose on its shaft and beating the inside of the cap. HTH and good luck! |
