Porsche Crest Rattle/Tapping noise

Hi,

Just finished replacing all the seals on the front of my engine. Then replaced and tensioned the belts. All seemed to go well but...about 60 miles later I have a tapping/rattle sound at idle. seems to go away when I give it a few revs. Any Ideas ? Only thing I did that was not 'by the book' was add a little silicone sealer to the small rubber seal that goes between the back of the cam bearing cover & the cam housing. It leaked lots of oil from there before & I wanted to be on the safe side. Did I block something important ? Cheers
