Oh, yeah...why you don't leave any extra parking brake linkage inside while you're waiting on parts. The fun of a daily driver and $100 wasted having to buy another brand new rotor 2 weeks after a full brake job.

The impact point where the expander wedged between the axle hub and the rotor. The rotor appeared to be ok until I tried to pull it off. Only half of it came off. :rolleyes:

how funny i wrecked that bimmer 85 325e and got the 83 944 hence my sig :P. that bmw was a great car but the dammed spring in the seat broke and riped the ass of my pants

how funny! both his front seats in the bimmer are broken. they dont move and none of the levers work. haha, but besides that i think its a great car ( i had to drive it for three weeks while changing the timing belt and other junk on my car)

In the afternoon while I was sitting in the shade chatting with the owners of the 930 next to me I heard my car get dis'ed, "It looks like a Datsun" :confused:

I kept it clean for another week and somehow took second in a local concours beating a very nice red 88 M3. I've decided it was the accessories - sunroof bag, tool kit, gloves and compressor - that tipped it my way.

this is a guy from my local forum that just completed 5 days of tarmac rally in the 2011 Dunlop NZ Targa. Same colour as mine but a year older, so, the older dash. It looks like he was coming 4th in class until he busted a ball joint on Day 3.

The car they probably had in mind was the old Nissan ('Datsun') 300ZX from the late '80s. A good-looking car, actually, in a vaguely similar style of design - though not as pretty as the 944.

It would have been my first Porsche but the dealer wanted $2500 for it and would not budge on his asking price at all. My dad wouldn't let me pay "full price" for a Porsche (he likes to negotiate). I go off and buy an 84 944 with sport suspension and full service history the same day. 4 months later the red car ends up in our local Porsche junkyard because nobody bought it from the dealer and I turned it down for $1400.
