the flex pipe is pulling air through one of my fog lamps, and in the canister is a cone filter, rigged it up my self after the filter kept pulling in warm air from the bay. its not working half bad for a universal intake kit and some dryer ducting parts haha.

thekidd 12-09-2009 02:46 PM

I thought it was a cone fitler and you wanted the cold air intake still going on with the car. I think bnv944's the only car with a cone filter which gets actual cold air that I have ever seen.

No engine and stripped out interior :)

This is an 931 (924 turbo) original. But no more as the car is built dedicated for autoslalom. Interior stripped out, 2,5n/a engine with mods and a lot of fiberglass and carbon parts. The project is on its way together with two other 931's in our garage. Some pics:

One soon to be 931 CS and one CGTS 300+hp ready for paint:

This Grey 89 S was bought in 2006 like this:....http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1281614469.jpg

Went to this:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1281614622.jpg

Then this:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1281614781.jpg

To this:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1281614838.jpg

Morphing from this:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1281614953.jpg

To this:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1281615037.jpg

.....and unfortunately to this:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1281615168.jpg

...so then we found a cheap black '86 and put in 95% of the mechanicals of the Grey one and it's become this now. Continuing the tradition of great 944 turbos from around the world...

Thanks Elliot. Still brings tears to my eyes to see the end result of the Grey one.
I wasn't there the day they took it away after almost everything was pulled off to put across to the Black one. I couldn't have stood there and just watched.

A short video clip with the new 5" custom SFR race exhaust. Pretty loud so we have to run a silencer on the street.
This is clearly without that. ;)

What is the purpose for the tape in the form of an 'X' over headlamps? I've noticed that with autos that have stationary lamps but with pop-lamps?

My daily driver/ project car. Euro bumper is being primed, turbo nose panel on it's way. Bilstein HD's shocks waiting to be put on, still deciding on coil-overs. Turbo twists rims waiting to be painted. M030 sways in front and rear.
