Should work just fine, if your 944 is 86 or earlier.

Ernie, just wondering about your 16" wheels that you have now. What are they? I'm just trying to figure out what 16" wheels I could use for my 83.

[QUOTE=ernie9944]I, down there Ernie here,so you think those wheels will fit my car ,here some more info ,my car came with 16x7.5 fuchs wheels, sport shocks and 23mm front 14mm rear sway bar, tires were perrili 205-55 -16 all around. presently I, running 225-50-16 in the rear.his wheels are16x8 front offset 23mm real fuchs. the rear are good quality repro not cheap one ,9x16 +15offset, they came out of a 82 911 turbo.most of 944 have 7x8 in rear I wander if it's not a little bite to wide and what it will do to my car handling,The car is well sorte out and I want to keep it that way .the reason for buying is that one of my wheels is not straigh and is hard to balance.problem is this guy living quiet far from my place and I cannot tried before buying. If you could answer me on my hot- mail------ PM me--- I could send you pics of the wheels. asking price is 1,ooo$ cnd for the sets. eagerly waiting for an answer. thank you
