Intake Air Temp Sensor Question
Hey guys,
I tested the Intake Air Temperature sensor (Temperature Sensor I) today and measured about 1.06K Ohms when I measured the temperature outside of the air flow sensor case to be 32 degrees Celsius. The specs for this sensor say that it will have a resistance of 1.45K - 3.3K ohms with a temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Does this sensor have a positive or negative temperature coefficient? That is to say should the sensor read 3.3K at 30 degrees or 1.45K at 30 degrees? In any case does a reading of 1.06K ohms sound like what this sensor should read at 32 degrees Celsius?

I'm pretty sure it reduces resistance when it gets warmer, but I'm not dead positive on that. I know the DME water temp sensor does.

Thanks! This seems to be right, I had a chance to measure the sensor at a different temperature and it read 2.33K Ohms at 20ºC.
