I was a Structural Mechanical Engineer - Power Plant Construction around the US. Now that I'm retired I am a full time Porsche Restoration worker. I get the 944's that most would part out and restore them to as close to perfection as possible. Sometimes I will have to spend twice as much to have the car live again as it could get for it if/when I would sell it. Can't keep 'em all, not enough room.

There is nothing more expensive than a cheap Porsche -

I manage maintenance and flying for 2 companies of Army aircraft....and work on my other 2 P-cars. If I still have time I help my daughter with her 2 horses....any time left after that...I drink beer & smoke cigars. Life is good !

I work on my 67 beetle, still go to high school (sadly....last year though), and work as a computer technician for a company called LVTech, and play drums in a metal band :)

Wow I always love the look of new lines. I worked in a rink for many years and changed many of zamboni blades and had many of late nights working on a good sheet of ice with friends after a long pick up game of hockey. not to mention the old crane compressors running at the rink and the HDB zamboni we had. my favorit Zam was the old 1962 3 speed JR we had as a back up it never let us down.

Love the picture! It's hard to find pics of the old stuff. The lines look pretty good from that angle, but that paint job had some issues. Nobody thought to use string and measuring tape to locate the faceoff dots and hash marks ( major  ), so they are kind of every which way. I decided to drop by that night and help out since I wasn't working that particular day and we were behind schedule, but the damage had already been done. Oh, well. I love working with the ice. It's pretty cool, especially the fun stuff like tempering.

I keep considering going into HVAC, esp refrigeration. It's pretty fascinating stuff and the auto market is so screwed up these days, anyway. Keeping cars on the fun end of the stick wouldn't be such a bad thing.

I work in It for a medium sized company, we make insulation for a lot of aerospace manufacturers, parts for Boeing, Spirit, Middle River. Planes like the F22 Raptor and F35 Lightning, and 70% of the insulation for the Space shuttle.
When I'm not at work I'm at school full time college student, 18units little over 50hour weeks with work and school. Luckily I've got a awesome 944s that makes going from one to another just that much more enjoyable.

Previously worked for 12 years in the plastic injection molding industry doing processing, robotics and process engineer functions.

I design chemical plants, refineries, power plants, natural gas units, etc.

If it has pipe and equipment like pumps, compressors, towers, reactors, etc. I'm the guy who lays the equipment, roads, pipe racks, buildings, etc out and routes the pipe from point A to point B.

I do i all in specialized 3D software for the industry.

Haha, if it wasn't we would have an unfathomable amount of lawsuits so far up our ass we would be tasting lawyers dress shoes till half past forever. We don't manufacture the tiles on the outside, internal insulation usually for engine components.
