Thanks`s for the info!!as far as the head, nothing is broke, chain, tensioner, upper & lower plastic`s are good.yesterday i took the head to my local machine shop and waited for the call.so here it is, all valves need to be replaced. 8 exhaust are bent and the intake are pitted.can anyone direct me to link with good prices??also, as for the small hole it`s normal,
it`s some kind of passage for the oil filter assembly, keeps it cool??? i was lucky and was able to get a porsche mech to come over and give it good look.it`s thumbs up!!! also if anyone needs a complete engine i have one.it was purchased back in 1991 with 30000 miles to do a converison but never done, because it doesn`t fit without lot`s of mods.it turns very nice and ready to install.so if your in need let me know.... |
sorry!! im in north carolina

The little hole is where they drill for the waterpump studs.
Call EBS racing for the valves. They're actually pretty cheap. |
