Unique Steering Wheel Vibration
For a (very) long time I've had a funky steering wheel vibration. It's a speed dependent pulsing and only when turning right. I've recently replaced my front struts (and strut top bearings) hoping that would fix eliminate it. No dice. Here are some things I've done that *haven't* made a difference:
- New Struts - New strut-top bearings / mount - New tires - Alignment - Wheel balancing Here are some things I think it *could* be: - Warped brake disc - Unevenly worn pads - Worn control arm bushings / castor block - Worn balljoint - Loose / worn front wheel bearing I was hoping you guys could give me an idea of which are the most likely so I'm not just throwing money and guessing. It's not that bad....more annoying than anything else. But with the struts and tires sorted everything else feels so nice as to highlight it.

You left off "Bent wheel".
That's my educated guess. Porsche specifies .040 out of round (which is minuscule.)

I had a low frequency vibration on the '87 944S I owned. It only happened during left turns at 35-45 MPH. I suspected ball joints but after discovering uneven tire wear on the passenger front - it turned out to be the wheel bearings on the wheel. Actually it was the bearing race had a small ding in the surface. Probably would have taken the bearing out eventually. Hard to detect even using recommended diagnostic procedures.

"always make sure your bearings are tight" (but not so tight that they don't turn freely)
There is more chance of dinging a ball or a race when hitting a harsh bump, if they are loose (plus other issues).

Replacing/upgrading the caster blocks to the 968 ones fixed an annoying wobble at ~80MPH for me.
The original ones had cracked rubber and allowed control arm movement.... ![]()

I have 968 caster blocks on my 951, they use less rubber and imo they're way better
