Crank pulley bolt
Any locktite, or anti-sieze on the bolt itself? 155lbs right?

I've used anti-seize but no locktite. No issues and yes the locktite makes it slightly easier next time. I also think it gives slightly more acccurate torque readings since you're "gliding" up to the proper torque rather than "skipping" up to it as threads bind and slide against one another as they stretch. In any case, no issues doing it that way. Yeah, 155 ft-lb sounds correct. Get a big honkin' 1/2" drive torque wrench.

Add-ons of any type will give false torque readings - Torque ratings are for a dry bolt/screw only.
The dry bolt torque ratings are figured with a coefficient of friction (approx. 0.02 for dry steel nuts and bolts. - unless there is a stated/named variable introduced.

Hi,100% on the no additive thing,get it right once first time ,I learnt the hard way getting someone else to do my belts and they didn't tighten this bolt costing ME a previously good 2.5 motor,cheers.
