turning radius

Something odd has happened to my 87 944, the turning radius to the right is much tighter than the left. the car had a tie rod replaced along with a bunch of other stuff, and came back with the problem. I've had the aligned then brought the car back to sort out the issue. In order to get the same amount of lock left to right one of the tie rods would not have enough engagement. I'm puzzled and at 500 to 900 bucks for a rebuilt unit I want to know if I can repair the one I have.

Were the Tie Rod and or the Tie Rod End replaced. If the Tie Rod was replaced it may have been the incorrect part (wrong length). I would take the car back and have the shop correct what ever the problem is, that is what you paid for.
Good Luck
