Exhaust Test Port - Anyone know the size
If I wanted to cap off the exhaust test port, does anyone know the size cap and is this just brass?

You can cap it with a spare lug nut.

I dropped a ball bearing in the hole... Then ran the fitting for the pipe down on that... The ball sealed it all shut...

Perfect.
I just checked and the lug nut is a perfect fit (and I just happen to have a few spares). I like the idea of putting a ball bearing into the hole too. I think both together will form a good seal. I supposed there is some type of thread sealant for exhaust available and I will look for that next time I'm out & about. Thanks. |
