Shift boot popping out
every time I hit 2nd, 4th, and reverse my shift boot pops out and I have to press the top back into the console, the leather is very tight when in any gear but these gears pop it out.
any solutions? I was looking at a Momo Red Combat Evo shift knob and matching Momo black leather boot. |

Sounds like the boot may be the wrong one

If you mean the shift boot "plate" it wraps around and is pressed into the center console---which is kept in place by a few plastic tabs underneath----
The plate is NLA so either a used plate or just carefully drill a couple of tiny holes near/around the edge (where the console is) and screw in a decorative cabinate screw or use a Porsche dash screw and cap from a donor car. Should be fine with the Momo setup. John
