Vacuum Line into Firewall

How do you replace the vacuum line that goes into the firewall? I've gotten the rubber boot off but the line continues further into it. Do I keep pulling or what? Need some tips.

I only know because i took my whole dash out and apart. I don't think you have to go that far. Its located on top or by the Recirculating fan that is on the passengers side under the glove compartment. I think you can see it if you just remove the glove compartment because there is not much behind it. IF memor serves me corect. When i replaced all my hard lines with silicone lines i left alone the one that goes past the firewall into the cabin because there is a rubber fitting there on the firewall right? Either way There is an electronic device/sensor of some kind that has a rubber elbow and from that rubber elbow there is a Red/black hardline that goes up and to the firewall or maybe it bent around to the rear of the recirculating fan and up to the firewall.
If you can when you remove the glove compartment take a picture and post it as it will probly rejog my memory

Okay, I took the glove box out and found the lines, it couldn't of been simpler once that box was out. I do have a picture I'll post up just incase someone in the future is in need of a visual aid.

Awesome, hopefully there was enough room for you to see the line in the firewall
