M030 sway bracket
I am trying to install a M030 rear sway on an 83 and the busking brackets seem too shallow for the bolts to reach. Are there different brackets ?

Rear brackets should be the same. Did you get the bushings that go with the bar?

Yes I have the proper bushings for the larger bar. sorry it was late in the night and I must have been just lazy. Today I clamped the bracket down with some Channel locks and got the bolts on just fine.

Spray a dab of WD40 or other lubricant to ease the installation. I don't know if these 944s have sqeaky sways, but I always wrap the bar with teflon tape before placing it into a bushing.

I use white lithium lube on rubber. . .WD40 could degrade the bushing.
