WP Heater Output Block Off
Hi,
I was wondering what methods are out there for Blocking off the output on the waterpump that feeds the hardline coolant tube to the heater core. I have an 88' 944 N/A Spec car and want to delete all of the heater core hoses and assorted components. I have already found a solution to block off the inlet on the back of the motor. TIA

I took a piece of heater hose and put a brass plug in it. Two hose clamps and the water pump outlet is blocked.
I was going to try this on an old water pump I have. Basically I want to put the brass plug right into the pump with no hose. You would need to drill the inside diameter of the outlet to the correct diameter and get a plumbing tap to thread it. Should not create an issue when the pump becomes a core.
