Hard to find an alarm module for 1990 944 turbo?
Water crept through the boot, followed the wire and filled my alarm module. Will it be hard to find second hand unit for my car and model year? Are there any modern units with remote locks that will fit?
Thanks.

Might be tough finding one, but on a positive note the alarm module from NA's should work as well. Make sure that you get the proper part number, not "just any" module from a different year.
Don't follow the alarm disabling procedures that are described in the various 944 forums; it won't work for your car and may short out your harness. Good luck, Keith

bebbetufs try this place:
New, Used and Rebuilt Porsche Parts - Porsche9xxShop they have few different types of genuine alarm units at reasonable price. shipping should also be cheap as I can see you are located in europe.

Have your girl friend sit in the car, and if any thing happens have her scream loudly.
Oops, sorry to much beer.
