Question 83 944 key prob

anyone with 85.1 n under check ur Ignition Switch dme/fuel relay n fuses....big deal i learnd how 2 bypass alarm n starter 3 days w car n did tons of work myself anyone on long island with a 85.1 44 n under who are havn alarm or startn issues id be happy to drive over n help....<3

Take your key and the title (so they know your not stealing the car) to the Porsche dealer. They will call Germany, and they will get the key code from the title amd relay it back to the dealer. Once Rey have the code, they will make you a new key (I'd get 2). But if your lucky the dealership will know what they're doing and won't have to call Germany, if they do it may take a day for the key to be remade. When I had this done, I took it in early morning an later in te day, dinner time, Porsche called me and had my keys ready to go. Hopefuls helps.

He mention that the key work but doesn't start the car ,I will suspect the ignition switch is not working.

Ok it started after i took batt off an hour i did the clarks alarm overide but it made my alarm go off n took off battery whent n took a nap n it startd back up again?it has 5,700 in work rebuilt engine tranny w 50 miles on it n all the 83 44 issues were fixed..im thinking alarm or bad dme mod or maybe fuel pump?ill play w her in the morning i need to pick up a 90 900s turbo 2 drive while i figure this out

Exclamation replaced dme/fuel relay

i did the dme/fuel relay no help..now i think its the fuel filter or pump anyone hava link 2 install the pump n filter...please
and the guy from long island like me who posted in that thread calld the same porche dealership 2 mins after me asking for a dme/fuel relay for 83 44 the guy said in ten years working parts never had that happen ...weirdddddd lol

Click on F

You will see all the instructions you need.

sorry idk how 2 erase n start a new one sence it wasnt dme related i thought makn a new one would help me but ty for the link ..ive been workn on this day n night a week ah

i put the new DME relais in n it didnt turn over n it the writting was upside down?did i put in it right ugh
