Mixing Tolerance Groups

Hey all,

I'm rebuilding my turbo engine. It's a tolerance group 1 set of pistons/block. The block is pretty scored. My question, is it a bad idea to go with, say a group 2 block? Obviously a group 0 will not work woth the larger pistons. I thought I'd heard you can increase block tolerance vs pistons.

Piston coatings can make up for clearance lost to honing. I recommend a machinist with experience with nikasil/alusil bores.
