Temperature guage not responding

Hi..... (how often does someone type that right away??)

Anywho - was sitting in my car just now and noticed the temperature was O on the guage- I just finished driving around for a while, so it was warmed up.

Then, while staring at it - giving it the "evil eye" - it jumped back up to the normal position. I looked away, looked back and it was 0 again. Back to the evil eye and it shoots back up. It is bouncing a wee bit also.

I have an S model. Where do I look to fix this? I know the sensor is just under the throttle body on the N/A's, but where is mine. Or could it be a loose wire?

Happy Porsching everyone!

Ok - I have been doing some searches on this and found out that I can't speel!! Apparently gauge is not spelled guage. That is why nothing was coming up in my searches - wooo hoo I'mmmmmm an idiot!

I did find out that the N/A has the temp sensors (two of em') in the head, under the intake manifold.

Now my question is - is this the same for the S?.....and how big a job is it to replace the sensor? I know the sensor isn't super expensive.

Any help would be muchly appreciated.
