fuse panel help

i need help trying to identify what wires go the the connectors on the back of the fuse panel. I just completed a re-wiring and need help. I haven't been able to find anything that shows the wire colors to the 17 connectors. I have attached a photo. If someone can offer some assistance it would be greatly appreciated.

How about a picture? Anyone out there that could post a picture of their fuse panel for reference. My car is an early 1985 944 and I really want to get it back on the road....

I'm looking at the picture you posted and don't recognize anything. Where is this? On the back of the primary fuse/relay panel?

The factory wiring diagrams show the wire colors.

yes, this is on the back side of the primary fuse panel up under the dash. I'm having a hard time figuring out the color of the wires that connect to the connectors. I have looked at the wiring diagrams but can't tell what wire goes to the connection.

IIRC those are the G and H connectors, and the wiring diagram in the Haynes does tell you which wires go where (even though they've got some errors). Follow the lines on the tops of the pages (they indicate the connections within the fuse block) and when you find a G, note the color attached to it. The spades on the back of the block are numbered, so tinker-toying it back together is really Tab A, Slot B. Have you had a look at the wiring diagrams here on Pelican?

In the above you'll see two wires connected to terminals marked 'H'. They're red, and their gauge is also given. So find the two big red wires and connect them to H on the fuse block. And so on...

I tried to get a picture but my wiring is so tight and snug I could barely move the fuse/relay panel off the mount.

You will need to get help from a dismantled car or go to a wrecking yard and hope someone pulled a dash.

ok I have been through the wiring diagrams and have attempted to follow the wires. I understand the wires going to the fuses. I can not tell what wires go to the spades that are numbered 1 through 7. I know the three red wires connect to the spades between 6 and 5. spade 4 has a green wire and a white wire in the front, spade 3 has a black and yellow in the front and white in the back. spade 2 in the back is purple and spade one in the back has two yellow and white wires. Thats what I have that I think is correct. I cant find any of those wires in that combination on the diagrams. If someone out there has any recommendations or can offer any help it will be greatly appreciated.
