Clicking when shifting
OK 1989 944 N/A. When you are Stopped and you return the shifter from a Gear to the neutral position and you release the clutch petal, there is a nice stroke clicking noise. Almost a pop? Also sometimes when I first start driving the clutch petal tends to stick to the firewall? Once the car is running a few moments, the petal sticking problem stops?
Little more info, the previous owner has recently replaced the Clutch cylinder and Master cylinder and claims he bought a Tool to assist in bleeding the system? When Shifting from 2nd to third, i have a slight grind.... Very mild. Any ideas? |

Pedal sticking in down position normally means there is still some air in the clutch line or pedal spring needs adjusting.
When the master/slave was replaced was the line between them also changed. If its an old line it could be the source of a slow leak. Pedal spring can stick if not adjusted correctly or if there is air in the system. |

Anyone want to chime in on the first part of the question regarding the clicking because mine does that too.
