I think upon delivery the 944 had a sticker on the windshield about features that were different than normal cars. I.e. ABS on certain cars, etc. I saw one once in pictures of an extremely low-mileage car.

Most 944's also have a bar code sticker.

I've read some of the 70's 911's had a red dot or something on the brake pedal signifying the new and groovy power assisted brakes.

It is black on black. Color code L041 it says on the sticker in the back.

A few words about color code stickers in 924/ 944/ 928/ 968 and 911 of course

Years 1981 - 1984. Part number is 928.701.167.02. They had "printed in the normal way" font and big corner radius:


Next years (1985-1987) they had other font in different, faded color. Something like first laser printers. Part number: 928.701.167.03.



In years 1988 - 1998 part number changed to 928.701.167.04. Corner radius was smaller, font remaind the same.


I'm going to reproduce all Porsche decals. That's a first part of my knowledge.
First step - engine decals for 911 is almost done.
Next step - engine bay decals for 924, 944, 928, 968 is almost done. I will need your help but not here - I don't want to spoil your thread, mhariush

Here's a sticker on a spare driver side fender that came with one of my cars. I have roated the picture horizonally on my computer so not sure why it's sideways here. Sticker was placed about 2/3rds from the front.

I have a one owner war, so everything is still there. 30 years of documents and all stickers. The one people are most impressed with is the factory starting procedure sticker on the windshield.
