Electrical question need some help

Lately i notice my battery needle dances like crazy.
Then some times stop and stays at either on 12 or 14 bar mark.
Last night i notice that when the battery indicator needle dances so and my driving lights at the same time do.

Any sugestions or i'm looking for new Alt any time soon?

You could also have corrosion (crud) on one or more of the many ground points on the car. Check all the solid brown wires ad trace them to where they are grounded to the body of the car. Most can be loosened, cleaned, and reattached. Don't forget the battery cables as well.

What is flikes? You mean flicks, dances around?

The 944 wiring is such a POS I wouldn't go blaiming the alternator quite yet. First thing to do is clean up or replace the cable going from the negative post off battery and the other side of the grounds to body and engine block. Then install a supplemental ground from the front of the engine block to the frame rail under the headlight bucket - I do it to the left side. You will see several brown grounds bolted to the rail.

Then clean up or replace the positive cable that connects the battery, starter and alternator. Replace with some nice #2 or #1 arc welding cable would be best. Next replacement would be the wire run from the battery to the fuse board. That is quite the joke.

Well as you can see my english still not perfect but yes ...i mean
dances around.
Thanks for the advise. I will try to check the wiring and go from there.
