I have an 86.

Early steel control arms
Manual steering rack
Removed PS pulley from crank (who needs light weight pulleys when you can just remove them)
AC delete
Steel heater control valve
Turbo sodium filled exhaust valves (they were the same price as the NA ones)
Larger Turbo radiator
Titanium heat shield above exhaust manifold
Aeroquip Firesleeve on fuel lines
SS braided brake lines (only did the fronts, back ones are on the to do list)
Hella E-code headlights
Homemade stainless swaybar to crossmember stiffeners
Only944 short shift
Silicone vacuum lines
Cockpit sound-deadening delete

That's all that comes to mind.

I have the NA-Tune, stainless steel braided brake lines, turbo bumper/related items, throttle response cam, stainless steel braided fuel lines, Porsche crest shift cap, and that's all I can think of at the moment. Coming soon are some Koni struts/shocks, 300lb front springs, 29 or 30mm torsion bars (I think that's what I decided on?), those Cup 4 rims from Tire Rack, Only944 short shifter, and a few other small unimportant items.

Are we talking about an improvement in speed/cornering, or just a general improvement? In no particular order, a partial list includes:
=======================================
D1R Stage 3 Supercharger
D1R lower strut brace
D1R upper strut brace
D1R firewall brace
D1R chassis brace for cabriolet
KLA sway bar braces
D1R short shift kit
D1R exhaust manifold heat shield
D1R stainless clutch hose
Higher Connections full cable kit
Boxster S II wheels, 17"
Kenwood DNX6140 DVD/NAV/BT Unit, all new speakers
XPel headlight/fog lamp/turn signal lamp protection

Probably the biggest improvement was the double-DIN stereo. That added at least 30 b(s)hp.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

944NA: Ripping out the interior, welding in a roll cage, putting big numbers on the doors.
......plus a few engine and suspension mods.

944S: Tossing out the ugly Phone dials, replacing them with Fikse wheels & wider tires.
