Unfortunately so... Both previous P-cars were bought at $X, I dumped in over twice what I paid for the cars in maintenance (no upgrades to speak of), and sold the cars after a couple of years for about the original price. For instance:

924 - $3,000 up front, probably $5,000 in maintenance, sold for $3,000 after a couple years.
944S - $7,000 up front, $16,000 in maintenance, sold for $7,000 after a couple years.

And the 968 is no different, except I've put a ton of upgrades into it and haven't sold it yet.

968 - $15,000 up front, at least $5,000 in maintenance and $10,000 in upgrades so far, and I figure it is worth $15,000 after a couple years.
