Bench bleeding tips

(... How's that for a thread title?)

My new Girling-compatible brake master cylinder will arrive soon. I have seen some tools and instructions for bench bleeding cylinders, e.g.:

Instructions:
http://s7d9.scene7.com/is/content/GenuinePartsCompany/1229488pdf?$PDF$

Tools:
Dorman 13911 HELP! Master Cylinder Bleeder Kit : Amazon.com : Automotive

Cardone 10-5000MCB Master Cylinder Bleeder Tool : Amazon.com : Automotive

How much will these help?
How is the cylinder supposed to be transferred for installation on the booster?
What other tips can you suggest?
BTW I have a vise - at long last.
