omm man some one else found the coolest wheels ever , case closed mic drop.
Arent those called Boxster S ?
I run those wheels on a S2. Such a pleasing design. Only a teensy wish they were directional too but that would mess tire rotation of course,

Needed spacer and extended studs on front as you have found.

Mounted on car not but you really really need some info I can probably provide

also, just because somebody (including me) hasn't had any issues, it doesn't mean that there won't be any. physics is physics. the loads are what the are, and parts will wear out and fail as a result. it's just a matter of time. while it's largely been ok, i've had to replace caster blocks twice, and need to look at my wheel bearings again. so even i have not been immune.

do a lot of homework first. drive some cars with what you are looking at. talk to the owners about their experiences. see if it's what you want and can afford. the real cost goes way past the wheels.
Flash is right on here. Each person needs to decide what their priorities are: cost, ride, handling, looks, extra maintenance, etc, etc, etc.

I went with 996 turbo wheels with Hankook Ventus Evo 12's. I picked those wheels because I love how they look. The extra rubber(compared to stock sizes) gives me much more grip. The ride is about the same as stock.
I was willing to give up some handling balance for the look I wanted. The width variation is much more than stock so I get more understeer at the limit(11" rear, 8" front). I've got to be going a lot faster than is legal or wise to get to that point on anything other than a race track. My car is a cab so it almost never sees time on a racetrack. It is a street toy, not a race car. I am always looking for the 10" wide version of the 996 twists and if I find a set in the right offset and for the right price I will put those up front and reduce a lot of my understeer. As it is, I picked my poison and will live happily with the choices I've made. Because IMHO, my car looks awesome!!!!!!

Had the same problem when I tried to fit 17" Cayman wheels to my 944. Overcame problem by fitting 9mm spacers. Size of spacers were dictated by; availability, like the extent to which cause the wheels to fill the arches. Haven't done too many miles yet since as I really need to extend the stud length first (thread engagement about halved and I've got aluminium wheel nuts).
