82 944 Reverse shaking
Howdy everyone, I recently re-inforced my fire wall near my master cylinder and replaced my master and slave cylinder. My car was shifting fine before but now when I put the car in reverse the back of the car shakes violently. The car also seems to shake a little bit before going into 4th. Any ideas, thanks

could be trans mount, exhaust hangers busted, blown clutch disc or warped flywheel even.

My first instinct is the clutch disc. Look in the clutch inspection hole on the bell housing and probing with your finger, see if there's a bunch of rubber debris. If so, it's the clutch disc.
There's a whole list of things to take care of while you're in there (WYIT): go to conventional disc, replace clutch fork shaft bearings, crankshaft rear bearing seal (requires removal of flywheel and replacement of flywheel bolts with new, new throwout bearing, new transaxle fluid and as an extra, short shifter and linkage kit from only944.com. You'll love this upgrade.

My clutch should still be great the car shifts fine and was replaced in the last 5 years. The car only started doing this after replacing the slave cylinder I thought it may have to do with debris or something, but I will look into everyones suggestions, thanks everyone
