RIP Click, or was it Clack
Tom Magliozzi, one of the tappett brothers and host of "Car Talk" on NPR, died today from complications from Alzheimer's.
I enjoyed many a Saturday morning in my garage listening to their unique car-centered humor and second-guessing their often insightful diagnosis of their caller's car problems. You will be missed. Tom Magliozzi, Co-Host Of NPR's 'Car Talk,' Dies At 77 |

I've listened to them for many years, a definite loss.

One apex at a time

It really is a small world. He parked his car in the same lot I did for work and I use to see him quite often in the north end of Boston. We talked cars as he had an MGA (that seemed to constantly need something fixed but you could tell he loved it) and He liked my Porsche. I never really put 2&2 together as we never ever actually discussed what either of us did for work we just talked cars. He seemed passionate about them and was nothing like his on air personality.
He will be missed. |
