Is this speed ref sensor bad??

I think I may have found the source of my engine issues.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Yeah, it seems there's a shim that fits around the neck of the speed sensor and it was left out by the PO. New sensor and shim on order.

Now this is a busted sensor... it isn't from the 951. Was in my son's SUV. Happened while he was away at school. I've never really determined what the heck caused such a catastrophic failure.
