Exclamation I think I found the prob. Check it out!

Hey guys! See my previous post titled" Help car is running like s***t!"

I have had fuel pump whining and surging with loss of power. Replaced the fuel pump and filter. Remains the same.

Today I checked my vacuum lines closely again and cranked the car up while inspecting under the hood. I found the injector closest to the fire wall leaking either at the or manifold....hard to tell.

Car runs like crap and spits and sputters especially on crank up. The fuel pump still whines like its under increased workload.

Could the injector be my problem all along? I have ordered the replacement seals and a new fuel dampener (fuel reg. is new).

What else guys???? Im depserate here!

To repair/replace the fuel line connections due to leaking at the crimps. The 86 I bought for parts was a victim of the engine fire that results when these come loose.

The fuel dampener is a good start as this is what the high pressure fuel encounters first.

I have a fuel rail from my 87 944S. It was replaced under the factory recall. It only has about 8,000 miles on it.
Let me know if you are interested.
