I'm for #3 but I like #1 and #2 too. They are fairly cheap too.

You can go with a 245 on the 17x8, aspect ratio depends on how much space is in your wheel well...I'm guessing 245/40-17 would be good.

Phone dials are 6" wide on 924's, 7" wide on 944's, and up to 8" wide on 944 Turbos. They use tire sizes 195/65-15, 215/60-15, 205/55-16, and 225/50-16. I have 225/50-16 and 245/45-16 tires on my 16x7 and 16x8 968 track wheels.

I don't like any of those wheels.

Well, i'd say if you're going to go with any of those, #4 looks the least ricey.
I think as far as tire widths, you may want to go 225 45 17 on the front and 245 40 17 on the rear or just got 225 45 17 all around so you can actually rotate them, HA!
17X8's would be best for wheel size ( although i'm going 18X8 Kahn rsr's w 225 40 18 Kumho 712's)
Good luck

Your going 18? Yo, I heard that 18's arent good for the car, that the car will actually start breaking. Is that true? I love to do 18's! I just dont want any problems.

18s are not recommended for 944s. Several factory bulletins were posted concerning issues with 18s.

none taken,... I mean I wouldn't mind getting turbo twisties but its like alot of people have them. I figured for the price they werent that bad also they are different. I think the most expensive is like $224. Unless you guyz have any other ideas in that price range.

Same here I think they look too ricey..but if you have to get one of these I think 4 would look least ricey. I prefer the turbo twist which arent too much more expensive than what you are looking at. That is for the replicas anyway. I got my set for under 1500 with kumho extas 7.5 x 17 in front and 9 x 17 in the rear.

I really like #4, but picture that same wheel in black. That would look real nice.

Overkill: Please don't Bling Bling your car! If you want to upgrade, then go for the Porsche wheels: Design-90's or 968 wheels. It's a nice upgrade and will fit the look of your car the best, IMHO.

You think those wheels are bling bling? Even on the black and white cars?
