tension gauge scam on eBay
Someone is passing off what looks like the $15 Krikit belt tension gauge as THE $500 Porsche gauge. Bidding is up to $110. He has made the auction private, so no one can warn the bidders. Beware!

I never saw this tool.
The tool that vertex and some other sells are completely diferent with dial gauge. Do this works too ?, is first version ? , what happened here |

I sent him an email too. I told him that it was pretty slimy what he was doing.
How would we go about notifying e-bay of this fraud? He must be pretty desperate.......check his other auctions, he's selling his shoes!

The fact that he represented it as the $365 tool is outrageous. Since he purchased it himself he obviously knows that it is not. Then the line about making it a private auction so nobody tries to sell his bidders a cheap knock-off.......that is a classic!
I have an idea! Someone here with the real tool should put up an auction with a picture and state that it is not a cheap knock-off like the other auction. Just set your reserve for $500 so it does not sell, but. when they see the ad they will retract their bid from that moron.
