Im planning to dynomat the interior of the car after the P.O.R was done. the question: 1. Should I dynomat the door panel? 2. if i do will the door card stick out more?

I would only do the inside of the door with the dynomat, the card side maybe a heavy plastic sheet stuck to the metal. Seemed too easy to me to make the fiberboard panel not fit right.

As a last option only imo. Even if a few db sneak past the door, the benefit is likely to be negligible.
I once took a 1500 Spitfire, producing some bass resonance in the cockpit, while eliminating possible items like engine mounts and exhaust. After determining thin floor metal was a factor, sheets went down over it. But afterward, the gain was much less than expected, where the sound difference improved 5 - 10%. Many folks install the stuff in their cars, but it's not for everyone... |
