I may have an engine tomorrow. At least part of it

I don't know what happened inside my engine yet. I've been working out of town and haven't had time to pull it.

But I located a parts engine tonight. I'm not sure it's a usable core yet. I have a friend with a engine he purchased several years ago from Renegade Hybrids. I think it's an 83 but I don't remember. He told me it sat so long in the shop it's stuck now and he can't turn it over.

So it's mine if I come and get it. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I'm thinkin I hope it at least has a good 4.7 block. It was an auto car... maybe thrust issues... I'll know more tomorrow. (block # at least)

Stuck doesn't sound good. I'm thinking somebody said something once about rings galling with the cylinder walls. Early cars had IIRC a clip or something that prevented TBF.

OTOH working from two motors, maybe you can get one good one.
