cam noise& Timing help

Hey last night my motor started making a noise that first sounded like a stuck lifter. I did trouble shooting this morning pulled my timing covers off and seen what seems to be the passenger side timing gear wobbling a little (had some front to back sway) what is the chance the front cam bearing going out?

Oh yeah.....its an 84 Us.

Also I found my timing mark on the gears what do I align them up with on the left and the right engine side housing?

Pics can be found where I posted the same question on rennlist

Thanks for any help.

Problem solved......as I began to take my baby apart I found the cam sprocket lose. Yeah it was a little less than finger tight. Torqued it down and the noise is gone without any failers or snapping the cam.

CHECK THESE BOLTS ON YOURS.....I know the timing belt was replaced before I purchased the car but the bolts were never touched!! It backed out on its own.

I wondered if it could be that simple, but too much potential trouble messing around there for me to venture an amateur opinion.

You just can't trust ANYTHING a previous owner or their mechanic has done to your car.
