Help, need auto trans cooling line (85-87) need new or rebuild help.

I need the cooler line on the right side of the transmission which runs along the torque tube and connects by the bell housing, mine leaks. :banghead: Pet show it in 84-86 but it is off my early 87. Item #11 on the picture. It has rubber hose on either end with a banjo fitting on one and a female threaded coupler on the other end and around 5 feet long.
I have tried to get a new one but have not had any luck.

p/n 960 307 039 00

If someone has a new one I can purchase please let me know.

I'm also would like rebuild options, the hydraulic line rebuilding locals won't touch it without new ends. I have no problem shipping it out for repair

This is the only thing keeping me from getting the car on the road.

Thank you,
Glenn

Glenn - I had this same problem, but my mechanic repaired the lines himself, and all appears well now. Anyway, I was sourcing those lines, and Roger had 3 out of 4 of them, including both rear lines. He had used and new. Give him a call. His prices were good too.

I suggest that you send your old cooling tube to Classic Tube www.classictube.com and have them fabricate you a new one. I had them them fabricate an ATF line that was NLA on one of my other vehicles and I was extremely pleased with the results. The part they make for you will likely cost less and be made better than the one from Porsche.
