Red Door Jamb Lights? Always ON???
I just replaced my rusted door jamb lights (Red). They are on all the time. I tried to push the door switch on both sides but they stay on. Anything else controlling these that I can check?

seems I remember reading s/w that this is typical when the switch or wiring goes bad. I'll see if I can dig it up, b/c there was a fix procedure as a bonus.

Thanks Chris! Weird, took a quick drive around the neighborhood and they are now off. I don't have enough time to check if they will work as intended, but will check later tonight. Gotta go do errands.

Square lights in the doors are on my short list for converting to LED.
Also on my short list are finding some excellent quality pin switches that would work in the doors, maybe a reed or something sealed. |

They go on with the other interior lights.
Check that the rear hatch is fully engaged. If the hatch part that goes down into the receiver is not down far enough to hit the switch at the bottom, it will leave those lights on. I think this is one of the most common causes of battery drain in the 928. It was happening on mine and two other 928s I had in the shop last year.
