'79 unidentified object in center console
Found this while putting in a new stereo. The gray wire is hooked to the seat belt notification light connector on the center console, the other side (wire) is not hooked up. The only markings are "Lectron Rochester, MI". Any ideas???

Just figured out what this is for. It is hooked to the driver fasten seat belt circuit and makes a ringing noise when I ground the loose wire and the ignition is on and the seat belt is not connected. Not sure why it was added, but just appears to be a seat belt reminder.

Yeah, my Euro had something similar, but it was a Delco part. I just took it out of the picture.
